The more widely recited recension of the Śukla Yajurveda, revealed to Yājñavalkya. The saṃhitā and Śatapatha are its own; the Īśa and Bṛhadāraṇyaka are shared with Kāṇva.

A Vedāṅga. Each school’s Kalpa-sūtras turn what the Brāhmaṇas teach into step-by-step procedure: Śrauta for the great sacrifices, Gṛhya for the household rites and saṃskāras, Dharma for conduct, and Śulba for building the altars.
