Once a major Kṛṣṇa Yajurveda śākhā. Its best-known book today is the Kaṭha Upaniṣad.
Not on this path, and why
- The Kāṭhaka Saṃhitā and the Kaṭha-Kapiṣṭhala Saṃhitā survive, but their e-texts are under restricted access and the Vedic Heritage Portal has no page for them yet.
- Portions of the lost Kāṭhaka Brāhmaṇa are preserved inside the Taittirīya Brāhmaṇa and Āraṇyaka.
